Growing up my childhood was filled with outdoor activities. Everything from running, climbing, biking, and playing sports. Through the years, my passion for sports and healthy living grew. When I left for college, I found a new challenge, a new sport, to try to excel at. I became seriously involved in our collegiate club Ultimate Frisbee team. This further enhanced my love for being in the gym and trying to improve on a daily basis. We had early morning cardio practices, late night scrimmages, and several high intensity training sessions during the week.
As training for the club team increased, so did my weightlifting training. Through countless hours of research and trial and error, I built myself a workout regiment and diet. I started seeing results and was fueled to continue my education even further. In 2012, I became a NCCPT certified personal trainer and weight management specialist. I soon started to realize that many clients would discuss their diets with me as well and that they needed help.
When I began explaining something like the ideal mix of carbs and good fats, their eyes inevitably glazed over. Most people knew the basics of what is considered healthful, but they felt like there was too much work required to really eat the way they should. This is how My Mighty Meals began, with a desire to take the work out of eating healthfully.
From creating a simple food plan to providing every one of your meals, hand-delivered to your door, I’ve designed My Mighty Meals to fit anyone’s needs.
